Just a few miles away from the cottage is River Cottage HQ (Park Farm), Hugh-Fearnley-Whittingstall's centre for all things 'food, smallholding and countryside-related' with a miscellany of events happening throughout the year. River Cottage HQ is a 17th century farmhouse, overlooking the Axe Valley, with specially converted barns and 60 acres of farm land with pigs, sheep, cattle and a 'must see' kitchen garden.

River Cottage Canteen & Store

The River Cottage Local Produce Store is located in the centre of Axminster, at Trinity Square, only a short drive away from Hectors House Cottage. It's a superb place where you can taste and buy the best West Country produce. The River Cottage team work with a wonderful collection of local and organic food & drink producers from the South West to make available a wide selection of the very best local and seasonal provisions including milk, eggs, bread, meat, poultry, beers and wines.
